Will you ever be ready to launch?

When you start talking about launching – out loud – to people who know you – you start feeling pretty good.

The reality starts to settle in though. Quickly.

And you realize – wait – now I actually should probably do this thing.

Well – a few weeks ago, I announced to the Fearless Launchers and some other people in my life that I was planning to do something that scared me…and get it on film…all in the name of Fearless Launching.

So – I did the getting it on film part – but then I had to actually edit it, record voice over, and do it.

Kicking and screaming. Dragging my feet. Coming up with different options so I didn’t have to finish it. Oh yeah – it all happened.

Launching is like becoming a parent – you are never fully prepared for everything that happens.  The fun part is – that never changes even after doing a few launches.  You’ll start coming up with new ways to scare yourself.  It’s what we do as entrepreneurs – get excited about big ideas and then figure out how to make them happen.

Watch this video to get a sneak peek at what you just might experience if you join Fearless Launching…

Now – I know maybe the Space Needle isn’t your idea of something scary – but for me it is. I’m a big scaredy cat from way back… Heights, small spaces… yeah good stuff.

Freaking amazing, Anne. seriously..what an awesome and inspiring video. Plus is that Mila I hear saying “don’t be scared Mom!”

I have to say it was kind of funny watching Denis try to pull out very typical “reality tv” moments… She was very concerned about me for sure… and we decided not to show me at the top being a little bit of a freak – I didn’t even go outside! Glad you liked it! See you tomorrow!

Amazing video! You caught just the right feel and emotion of exactly what we all face when wanting to launch and put yourself out there. Thanks Anne!

I absolutely love this.

“Don’t travel without a map”. You are such a smart scaredy cat!

Congrats on facing your fear and launching a kickass programme that helps others do that too. X

Girl this was awesome!!!! I love how real you were…you were scared, we can all feel it, and we all rejoiced with you when you got on there anyway, and headed for the top. :) That’s awesome to face a fear head on like that. And Mila was/is adorable!

I was actually – and it wasn’t cinematic at the top – I stayed inside while everyone else enjoyed the view. LOL. I’m kind of a big baby… Thanks so much for always supporting me! xoAnne

Anne – I love this video.
I’ve watched it several times now.
You really, I mean REALLY, capture an emotional part of the personal journey of launching something new into the world.
Your course has been such an amazing gift and I’m so fortunate to be part of it.

Lauren,
It’s pretty crazy how honoring and acknowledging that emotional part of the process lightens the whole load of launch, eh? At least that’s my experience. So glad you enjoyed it. -xoAnne

This was amazing Anne! I especially love hearing your lil’ say “Don’t be scared mama!” because I would be right there with you (I’m terrified of heights). Congrats on a kick-ass launch of fearless launching! xo

Thank you so much Racheal – I felt like why not… let’s do something scary – even other people don’t see it as that… and the feedback from everyone has been so much better than I could have imagined!

Anne!!!!!! You are amazing! I loved this video. I love seeing everything you have created. I can’t wait to see you at the RCRC reunion just so I can say “Well done my dear!” You are going to change so many people’s lives. In fact, I am sure you have already. You inspire me everyday. I’m launching, and I have fear but when I watch your video and hear your voice, it’s like you are holding my hand and saying “good job Valerie”. “Breathe”. “You got this”. Val xoxo

Val!!! I think I teared up when I read your message and email last night. Means so much to me because I look at you someone who changes lives every single day – I can only hope to do that!

Tell me how I can help you during this launch!

Lovely! Going to try to join you tomorrow if I can swing it. Saw the link on Emelie’s page, then on the Creating Fame FB group so I came by to peek. You’ve got some big fans there. And now I’m thinking we met at WDS, right?

Samantha – I think you gave me some natural soothing suggestions for my crazy cough at WDS!!! And they worked! Hope to see you today – but if not you may get a few more chances over the next 2 weeks! Thanks for stopping by!

Oh I love this video. I have good ideas needing launching but I haven’t made a plan and I think it’s because I’d have to confront all my fears about it to do so… but eek, I want to do this!

Reply

annesamoilov August 31, 2012 at 11:36 am

Fiona,

Even when you know how to make a plan in other areas of your life – there’s often a disconnect when it’s something that really puts you on the line…

I have a feeling all you need is a little prodding from people who are also confronting their own fears of launching.

So – what are you going to launch?
